    Industry Analysis
    Input:
    An analysis by experienced managers or an analyst that knows the industry. You may want to use some of the tools below to structure the analysis.
    Tools to be used in preparation of workshop:
    Industry financial data (Revenue, Growthrate) (See Competitor analysis)
    Process:
    The analysis should be done beforehand, and could be presented in the strategy workshop.
    Objective: The workshop should focus on identifying opportunities and threats and finding attractive positions.
    Output:
    1) Identify opportunities and threats that lies within the industry and is caused by the industry structure, the stakeholders and their interests. This is input to the SWOT analysis.
    2) You should evaluate if you can position yorself in a more efficient way.
    3) A good industry analysis should also predict development traits and future direction, so that the strategy could account for expected development in the industry.
